چکیده

Differential gene expression is an analysis of data, in which the RNA sequence data after next-generation sequencing are to be visualized for any quantitative changes levels experimental set. This work aims derive transcript statistics on a file with fold change genes normalized scale, order identify difference between reference genome and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) samples. insight makes clinical impact assessing characterizing candidate genes. The pipeline comprises tuxedo protocol programming language R standard ballgown package. resultant set plot displays depict their respective location significant expressing NSCLC samples compared prominent labels results explain differential particular across from both genders.

Differential expression of microRNAs and their target genes in non-small-cell lung cancer.

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are single‑stranded RNA species that constitute a class of non‑coding RNAs, and are emerging as key regulators of gene expression. Since each miRNA is capable of regulating multiple genes, miRNAs are attractive markers for studies of coordinated gene expression. In this study, we investigated miRNA expression profiling using a massively parallel sequencing technique to compar...

Regular paper Reference genes for gene expression studies on non-small cell lung cancer

Study Objective: The aim of this study was to test a panel of 6 reference genes in order to identify and validate the most suitable reference genes for expression studies in paired healthy and non-small cell lung cancer tissues. Method: Quantitative real-time PCR followed by the NormFinderand geNorm-based analysis was employed. The study involved 21 non-small cell lung cancer patients. Results:...

Differential expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α in non-small cell lung cancer and small cell lung cancer

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to compare the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α and vascular endothelial growth factor in small cell lung cancer and subtypes of non-small cell lung cancer and examine their relationships with clinicopathologic factors, response to treatment and survival. METHODS We examined samples obtained by bronchial endoscopic biopsy from 55 patients with ino...

Clinicopathological Features of Patients with Non-small-cell Lung Cancer in West of Iran

Background: Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death worldwide with an annual mortality rate of more than 1.3 million worldwide. We aimed to analyze the clinicopathological features of patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in west of Iran. Methods: 64 patients with NSCLC who referred to our clinic were analyzed. Sex, age, histopathology, location of the tumor, treatment,...

ATM induces radioresistance of non-small cell lung cancer A549 cells by downregulation of MDMX

Background: Tumor radioresistance leads to a reduction in the efficiency of radiation therapy. It is very important to explore the cellular mechanisms leading to radioresistance and to find potential therapeutic targets, which might improve the efficacy of radiation therapy. This study was to investigate the role of ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and murine double minute X (MDMX) in radior...
